About Angela N. Bryant

Attorney Angela N. BryantAngela Navarette Bryant attended college at the University of California, San Diego, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Psychology and a minor in Theatre. She received her Juris Doctor at University of California, Davis, King Hall with a Pro Bono Certification.

As a proud Latina, Ms. Bryant was actively involved in La Raza La Student’s Association (LRLSA) during all three years of her law school education. Ms. Bryant continues her involvement in the Latinx community through her memberships in East Bay La Raza Lawyers Association and the Latino Community Foundation.

Ms. Bryant came to family law through her passion for victim advocacy. During her time at King Hall, she represented survivors of domestic violence at the Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic as a certified law student. Additionally, Ms. Bryant did a post-bar clerkship at Family Violence Law Center in Oakland before moving into private practice.

Ms. Bryant has exclusively practiced family law for the entirety of her legal career. She was an associate attorney at two well-established, local, family law firms before opening her own practice in 2015. Ms. Bryant also completed her Essentials of Mediation and Divorce Mediation courses through Northern California Mediation Center in October 2017, and works collaboratively with families as a mediator to reach settlements outside of the courtroom.

In Fall 2018, Ms. Bryant and Ms. Alyami merged their solo firms to form Family Law Advocates Group, PC, an all women of color firm.

Ms. Bryant grew up in a military family, but is a Texan at heart. She currently lives in Alameda County with her partner, two children and two cats. In her free time, she nerds out on musicals, speculative fiction, true crime and eating all of the wonderful food the Bay Area has to offer.
