Joevanna Ledesma is a Metro graduate from the Ethnic Studies Academy and recently graduated cum laude from San Francisco State University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She is FLAG PC’s Legal Assistant.
During one Spring term, Joevanna interned at the Law Offices of John L. Burris as a clerk where she was first introduced to the legal field. She worked around a team of lawyers committed to protect the rights of the people in civil rights litigation. In her Senior year at SFSU, Joevanna branched out to family law, interning at Family Law Advocates Group as a support staff member. This work has fostered her passion in assisting and supporting families within her Bay Area community.
Now as an aspiring attorney, Joevanna looks forward to continuing her professional career by attending law school, in the near future. Upon her graduation, she plans continue to help families and community members in need.
Joevanna lives by faith, family and football. Most importantly, she is actively involved in her church as a Bible Study leader, as well as other ministry roles. She aims to empower and help young girls in her Richmond community. Joevanna is the oldest of three and enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially during San Francisco 49er football season.
